The Shamanic Journey and Personal Creativity

Sunday, July 15, 2012
Covent Garden, London
10:00am until 6:00pm

  • How Does The Shamanic Journey Enrich Us Creatively?

Many of us imagine that creativity is something other people have, professional people like photographers, dancers, or maybe successful entrepreneurs. True creativity however is something that we all possess; it is an integral part of being human and alive. From a shamanic perspective, creativity is a part of everything, it isn’t just something humans do, it is what we are, whether we are artists, craft makers, writers, parents, or simply women and men wishing to make everyday life fuller and richer.
Through shamanic techniques we automatically become more creative as we concsciously and unconcsciously associate who we are with Spirit. The shamanic journey helps us focus on what we want and need in our lives; it helps us structure our thoughts and create ‘stories’ that connect us to our deepest hopes and fears with a fresh and compassionate eye. On a physiological level it helps us overcome the conditioning of our education and become less left-brain focussed. The spirit helpers we meet on our journeys can show us what it truly means to be one with everything; what it means to be, not just a tiny, insignificant part of creation, but creation itself.

This one day intensive workshop will look at how the shamanic journey can both help us hone our exisiting creativity and bring to life what may be asleep within us, waiting to be woken so it can express itself.
The workshop is suitable for experienced practitioners and also for those new to shamanism.

£95 (some concessions available on request). To book please email info@shaman.uk.com. (Please note: you can't book through FB).

Zoe Bran PhD is currently a full-time shamanic practitioner, writer and educator. She is the author of eight books and formerly a lecturer in Creative Thinking and Travel Writing and a Writer in Residence at The University of the Arts, London.
